24 Hours of Silence Fundraiser

Last year for the first time since 2019, 4 youth participated in 24 hours of silence to raise funds for clean water for northern indigenous communities, and for St John's.

As a result of your generous support we raised just over $3000.

Thank.you so much all your support.

Thinking and acting beyond themselves.

In the past the youth of St. John’s Anglican Church Ancaster has taken time at Christmas to think of the needs of others. Through several fundraising efforts, a chili lunch, and making things to sell at the Christmas Bazaar, they managed to raise enough funds to purchase Christmas gifts for teenagers who are registered with the St. Matthews House Christmas program. Pictured here with their leaders are the senior youth group, who went shopping with the lists provided by St. Matthews House and the junior youth group who stayed back at the church and waited for the shoppers to arrive and then it was all hands-on-deck wrapping each gift. It is the generosity of the Parish family and friends which helped to make this possible.
