Good Friday Journey through Holy Week for families of young children
The families who journeyed through Holy Week on Good Friday found it very meaningful. We all sat and had bread and drank juice together, fell asleep in Garden while Jesus prayed, we washed our hands with Pilate as the soldier led Jesus away, we tasted vinegar that was offered to Jesus and rolled a body pillow in fabric and placed it in a tomb. Easter morning everyone was excited to see the stone rolled away and the tomb empty.
During Lent,
families worked together on the commandment Jesus gave us to love one another. One of the activities was a random act of kindness tree. Each leaf represents a random act of kindness.

Lent to Easter Boxes.
Here are some pictures of our families engaged in the Lent to Easter boxes they received.
St. John's Families took part in a Good Friday challenge to go for a walk and be aware of what's around them in the shape of a cross. Here are the pictures they sent in.
